How does the SG3000 work?

The SG3000 analyzer allows you to read the refrigeration systems super heat values in
real time.
1. The SG3000 system consists of two devices; a remote transmitter and a receiver
unit.
2. The transmitter unit sends data from the return air duct inside the building to the
receiver unit outside the building where the condensing unit is installed.
3. The receiver has sensors that monitor temperatures and pressure readings on the
outdoor condensing unit.
4. The information from inside the building from the transmitter and the
information from outside the building are analyzed in the receiver unit where the
superheat values are calculated. Both the target system superheat and the actual
system superheat values are shown on the LCD screen.
5. If the system is not operating as desired, a refrigerant charge level indication is
displayed on the LCD screen to show the current status of the refrigerant charge.
The reading will change as refrigerant is added to or removed from the system.
6. The display will indicate if the charge is (to low) (to high) or (ok).

Where is the SG3000 used?

The SG3000 analyzer is designed to be used on residential capillary tube and TXV (Thermostatic Expansion Valve) air conditioning refrigeration systems that use refrigerants R22 or R410A. Other refrigerants will be added in the near future. This will be accomplished through an upgrade to your current unit.

The SG3000 analyzer can also be used as a service tool to read pressure and temperature
values. The HTM 2500 contains three sensors which may be used as a remote wireless
humidity, dry bulb, and wet bulb sensing unit. In addition, there is an auxiliary
temperature input sensing unit. The receiver may be used as a two input (Low) 500 and
(High) 1000 PSIG pressure sensor and a two input digital thermometer
